The flood warning continues for
the Sabine River Near Gladewater.
* from Thursday evening until further notice...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At  6:15 PM Wednesday The stage was 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
to rise to near 29.8 feet by Saturday early afternoon.
* Impact...at 29.0 feet...Expect lowland flooding to continue with oil
field operations curtailed.

* AT  6:45 PM Wednesday The stage was 11.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 11.9 feet by
tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow
late evening.

The flood warning continues for
the Sabine River At Longview.
* from Thursday evening until further notice...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At  7:00 PM Wednesday The stage was 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late evening and
continue to rise to near 26.6 feet BY Monday evening. Additional
rises remain possible thereafter.
* Impact...at 28.0 feet...Lowland flooding will continue for several
days. Oil field operations will be curtailed and timber resources
will suffer severe flooding. Fisherman should use caution as
currents are swift.

the Sabine River Near Beckville.

* At  6:45 PM Wednesday The stage was 11.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday afternoon and continue
to rise to near 26.9 feet BY Saturday evening. The river will fall
below flood stage by Monday afternoon.
* Impact...at 26.0 feet...Expect lowland flooding of the heavily
wooded floodplain. In addition, oil field operations in and near
the floodplain will be affected and steps should be taken to secure
petroleum equipment.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Arkansas, Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, and
Texas, including the following areas, in Arkansas, Columbia,
Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada,
Sevier, and Union. In Louisiana, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo,
Caldwell, Claiborne, De Soto, Grant, Jackson, La Salle,
Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine, Union,
Webster, and Winn. In southeast Oklahoma, McCurtain. In Texas,
Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg,
Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Red River,
Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur, and
Wood.
* Through late tonight.
* Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall will continue along and
behind a cold front across much of East Texas, Southeast
Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas, and North Louisiana. Additional
rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated higher amounts
in excess of 3 inches over portions of Deep East Texas, North
Louisiana, and Southcentral Arkansas, will be possible through
tonight, although the threat for heavy rain will begin to
diminish from west to east late tonight.
* Flash flooding of roads, low lying, and poor drainage areas
will be possible. If you encounter flash flooding while
driving your vehicle, remember to turn around, don`t drown.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
