Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Upshur, Smith and Wood
Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Hawkins.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 27.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 AM CDT Saturday was 28.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday evening and continue falling to 21.8 feet Thursday
morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
27.1 feet on 03/25/2012.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

Wood Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Lowland flooding will continue to slowly
decrease over the next several days.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 34.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 34.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 29.6 feet
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
34.1 feet on 03/28/2020.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooding of low river bottoms with
secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas
becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and
equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 17.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 14.9 feet
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.2 feet on 06/29/2015.
